What is lymphatic compression therapy?

When we first start the Normatech sleeve you will initially feel something equivalent to a blood pressure cuff being gently inflated around your chosen area. Lymphatic Compression Therapy
Follow these instructions to make the most of your Lymphatic Compression Experience
Pre Therapy Session
- Hydrate with at least 250ml of water to ensure that you are hydrated going into the session.
- Please arrive early in order to set yourself up comfortably. Appointments are set up back to back with a small amount of time in between to clean and prep for the next client.
What to wear
- Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended for your session.
What not to do before/during session
- Please refrain from applying oils or lotions to your skin prior to your compression therapy session as this can affect our equipment.
- Please do not eat or drink in the therapy room.
Post Therapy Session
- We recommend you drink at least 600mls of water or electrolyte to re-hydrate.
Contraindications
- NormaTec Compression Therapy is contraindicated for patients with: acute deep vein thrombosis, severe atherosclerosis or other ischemic vascular diseases, suspect or known acute deep vein thrombosis, severe congestive cardiac failure, existing pulmonary edema, existing pulmonary embolism, extreme deformity of the limbs, any local skin or tissue condition which the garments would interfere with such as gangrene, untreated or infected wounds, recent skin graft, and dermatitis; the known presence of malignancy in the legs; limb infections, including cellulitis, that have not received antibiotic coverage; the presence of Lymphangiosarcoma.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
- Sauna sessions are non-refundable and subject to the cancellation policy. All no call/no show appointments will result in forfeit of payments. You must reschedule a minimum of 48 hours' notice.
